Snow!

It snowed on our land! It's rare for the snow to come this low, so last Sunday morning we drove up to enjoy it before it melted away. It was our girls' first snowball fight! (Cedar was sleeping in the car.)

The barns belong to our neighbor. Don't they look pretty in the snow? We tried to take closeup pictures of the peacocks strutting on the snowy barn roofs, but our camera died. :-P

  1. So you guys did make it up to the snow last weekend! Christal brought her kids over to our house and we had a snowball fight here. That was fun, too.

You should have seen our land (and yours!) at 5:30 in the morning. The snow was thick and covered everything. It was absolutely beautiful!

  2. Well I am glad that your camera died after the snowball fight! It looks like you guys had LOTS of fun! I am also glad that you came up to play in the snow.

You can see by your pictures compared to the ones I put on my blog how quickly the snow was melting, but it was good fun while it lasted!

  4. It was some very wet snow and did make good snowballs. It tool a few days for he snowman we madein the front yard to completely melt, which says how compact the snow was.

You guys will have to go and see the airshow pics I put in my blog.

  5. Looks like a fun time! I'm sure your girls had a blast. We were expecting around 6 inches today, but I am thinking it's all going up to Kansas City! I'm glad - all my flowers are blooming - we've been having 80 degree weather the past month.
