Prayer for the Elections

For we can do nothing against the Truth [not serve any party or personal interest], but only for the Truth [which is the Gospel]. (2Co 13:8 AMP)

Serving a “party or personal interest” is not serving the Truth. Lord Jesus, in this year’s presidential elections, raise up those who will “not serve any party or personal interest.” Raise up those who will serve the Truth in every part of their lives. Let them be those who are incapable of doing anything against You, who are the Truth. Instead, may they honor and glorify You in their private and public lives. Raise up a man of righteousness to lead our nation. Raise up men and women of righteousness to surround him in his administration, in the Congress, and in the Supreme Court. Give us godly leaders to guide us through the days ahead.
