We just passed a "Shreveport - 97 Miles" sign. We are going to get there right at the time we are scheduled to meet Alana Michelle and her VERY brave and courageous birth mother, Jennifer.
Heavenly Father, may your peace that passes understanding be tangibly felt in the meeting. Thank you for giving Alana a forever family. Thank you for giving Jennifer a heart that is like yours, thinking nothing of her own pain, but looking ahead for life for her daughter. Wrap your arms around her. Let her feel your love. Amen.
Oh my gosh!!!! It's happening! This is so amazing and you will see the miracle of God's love all over this! I'm so excited for you and for baby Alana! She's beautiful and could not be part of a more wonderful family.
