Lord Jesus, help us to know how sacred is life.
Unexpected mysteries hiding around corners.
Moments of glory waiting along the path.
Oases of silence, listening for Your voice.
Exuberant joy in loud, sticky messes.
You are in, through, above, and below it all, surrounding and filling.
Help us to know You, see You, hear You today.

Meeting Pictures Part 1
Paul, Jennifer, Michelle, and Baby Alana just met.
These are special pictures! What a blessing for Alana to have them. They make me cry happy tears. I can't help it. :)
I love the peace and joy I see in Jennifer's face. The one titled "meeting Alana" you can see that Jennifer is happy to give her to you.
When I look at the one with your arm around her Michelle I can't stop crying. I am so proud of you! You are truly sharing your heart and loving her. I am so proud to be your mommy! And Paul stands there covering of all 3 of you. You are an exceptional daddy Paul!
Indescribable.... and unbelievable that you are not just... watching Alana for a few years. That Jennifer willingly is giving her to you. At this moment, I don't know that my mind will ever be able to wrap around what is happening in these pictures. The emotions I'm feeling are too weighty to know how to put words to. I can't imagine how you must feel.
Alana, you are not displaced. Your purpose is far greater than any of us can understand. You are blessed among children.
I agree so much Charlotte. As I was praying yesterday for Michelle, Paul and Alana, God really showed me how much adoption is precious to him. Whether we call it grafting or adopting (unless we are Jewish) that is how we are able to know Him. God sending His son to draw us to Him and then to suffer and die and be raised again is how we are able to be adopted PERMANENTLY into Him family. What a great honor and privilege to be a small part of continuing that blessed gift. Praise God
